The Disconnect: Executive Optimism vs. Worker Readiness
Executives are largely optimistic about the potential of AI, viewing it as a valuable co-worker. However, new research from Accenture reveals a concerning disparity: workers are not adequately prepared for this shift.
The study, encompassing 14,000 workers and 1,100 executives across 12 countries, found that while 84% of executives anticipate AI-powered agents working alongside humans within three years, only 26% of workers have received training on how to effectively collaborate with these technologies.
