XRP Healthcare: AI and Acquisitions Expand Access in Africa
Updated June 03,2025
XRP Healthcare,a company founded in the United Kingdom and incorporated in Dubai,is addressing healthcare gaps in emerging markets, notably in Uganda. Instead of relying solely on software solutions, the company focuses on acquiring existing healthcare infrastructure and upgrading it with artificial intelligence.

With a valuation of $15 million CAD and a pending public listing on Canada’s TSX Venture Exchange, XRP Healthcare combines mergers and acquisitions (M&A) with AI to create a scalable health delivery system across Africa.
This approach addresses the fragmentation, mismanagement, and under-equipped nature of existing healthcare infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa. A 2022 World Health Organization (WHO) study revealed that 60% of facilities in low-income countries lack basic diagnostic tools, over 50% have unreliable medicine availability, and many lack proper data systems.
XRP Healthcare’s strategy involves acquiring local pharmacies and clinics, rebranding and upgrading them under a unified, tech-powered system, and integrating AI tools to improve patient care, staff performance, and supply chain efficiency. The XRPH AI App, a multilingual digital health assistant, connects each location, offering features like doctor search, image-based diagnostics, and treatment options.
The company reports that building a new clinic in East Africa costs between $150,000 and $400,000, while acquiring and upgrading existing pharmacies costs less than $50,000. They also claim AI reduces triage costs by over 70% compared to in-person consultations.
What’s next
XRP Healthcare aims to scale its hybrid model, merging real-world infrastructure with clever automation, across Africa, believing it represents the future of scalable, inclusive, and investable healthcare.
