Aida Riyadh’s Chance Encounter with Adel Imam
Actress Aida Riyadh shared her experience of meeting Adel Imam on the sets of a film.
In an interview with journalist Nizar Al-Fares, Aida Riyadh recalled the incident, saying, “I was filming in the same field as Mr. Adel Imam, and I wanted to greet him. Despite playing a shameless role at the time, I was very sad. I found out that he would be shooting for three days, and I decided to approach him on the third day.”
Riyadh continued, “I saw Professor Adel Imam walking out wearing pink brocade, and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to meet him. I went up to him and said, ‘How are you, Professor Adel?’ He looked at me and replied, ‘How are you, Aida? I’ve seen the movie Ahlam Hind and Camelia, and I like you very much.'”
Aida Riyadh asked Adel Imam about the possibility of working with him, to which he replied, “My eyes, Aida, in the first introduction, and you have an opportunity for a role suitable for you. Why would I nominate you to play with adults?”
Aida Riyadh on Her Intimate Scene with Adel Imam
Aida Riyadh opened up about her intimate scene with Adel Imam in the film, saying, “When I read the script, I didn’t think about what was between the lines because I just read the dialogue. Professor Adel Imam is light-hearted, and he does his things in a humorous way.”
Riyadh revealed that Adel Imam was initially hesitant about the scene, saying, “He was afraid of me and said, ‘Aida, take care, the time filming made me lose my mind. I will drop.'” However, Riyadh assured him that she would control the situation, and they proceeded with the scene.
Despite the initial hesitation, the scene went smoothly, and Aida Riyadh even managed to make Adel Imam laugh during the filming.
