board. Among the victims was a family of five from rajasthan, including doctors Komi Vyas and Prateek Joshi,
who were traveling with their three children. The family took a final photo on board the doomed flight, minutes
before the tragic incident.
Prateek joshi had relocated to London several years ago, and his family was preparing to join him. The
Air India flight, bound for London Gatwick, ended in a fireball. One British national is believed to be the
sole survivor of the Air India flight crash.

Komi Vyas had recently resigned from Pacific Hospital to join her husband in London, according to a hospital
spokesperson.Nayan, JoshiS cousin, said that family members had gathered to see them off in ahmedabad.The
couple had been married for 10 years, according to Vyas’ brother.
Authorities have recovered 200 bodies from the Ahmedabad plane crash site. Among the 242 people on
board,53 were British citizens,including 11 children.

Vishwash Kumar Rames, 40, is thought to be the only survivor. “I just got out of the plane, it exploded,” he
reportedly said.
