Air India Soars into Onam Celebrations with Brand-New Boeing Aircraft in Kasavani and Vanola
Air India Express Brings Onam Celebrations to Vanola with Kasavu-Themed Boeing 737-8 Aircraft
Kochi: Air India Express has introduced a unique way to celebrate Onam, the traditional harvest festival of Kerala, by launching a Boeing 737-8 aircraft with a tail art designed based on the traditional Malayali attire, Kasavu.
The Kasavu flight took off from Kochi on Wednesday, marking the beginning of the Onam celebrations. The crew of Air India Express, except the cabin crew, wore Kasavu clothes to welcome the aircraft. The airline also prepared fig fields under the wings of the plane and in front of the check-in counters, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Passengers traveling on this flight to Bangalore were welcomed with Kasavu shawls, making it a memorable experience for them. This initiative is part of Air India Express’s efforts to promote the cultural heritage of different regions through its aircraft designs.
