AirAsia Supports 10% Airfare Reduction for Christmas-New Year 2024/2025 in Indonesia

Indonesia AirAsia supports the government’s plan to reduce domestic flight prices during the Christmas and New Year holiday period in 2024/2025, from December 19, 2024, to January 3, 2025. CEO Veranita Yosephine expressed this support in a statement on December 1, 2024.

She believes that reducing ticket prices will make air travel more affordable and encourage mobility and growth in domestic tourism. This initiative aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s focus on helping citizens lower travel costs and reviving the tourism sector.

Veranita noted that the government aims for a 10% reduction in airfare, which will include cuts in various components such as fuel surcharges and landing fees. AirAsia is committed to maintaining service quality, focusing on safety and comfort, while implementing these price reductions.
