Airbnb Partners With Tour de France to Boost Rural Rentals

Airbnb has announced a three-year partnership with the Tour de France and the Tour de france Femmes, aiming to promote rentals and unique experiences in rural France. The agreement with Amaury Sports Institution (ASO), which organizes the races, extends through the 2027 editions.
The partnership will see Airbnb promote accommodation options along the 3,339-kilometer Tour de France route. additionally, Airbnb will offer experiences such as rides with former cyclists, including Mark Cavendish, and host meet-and-greets and cycling masterclasses during both events.
Airbnb said the deal builds on the success of the Paris Olympic Games, during which it facilitated 700,000 bookings. The company also has existing partnerships with the International Olympic Committee and the International paralympic Committee, initially signed in 2019 and extended in 2023, providing athletes with grants for travel and accommodation.

The 2025 Tour de France is scheduled to run from July 5 to July 27, while the Tour de France Femmes will take place from july 26 to August 3.
