A RO-Alert message was issued on Saturday night to Sunday, September 8, around 2:45 am in Constanța county, warning the population about the possibility of objects falling from the airspace.
The message advised people in Constanța county to take shelter in cellars or civil defense shelters. In the absence of shelter, people were advised to stay indoors, away from windows.

The RO-Alert message is likely related to pieces of drones, as similar messages have been issued in the past for Tulcea county. However, this is the first time a similar message has been sent to the population of Constanța county.
According to the representatives of ISU Tulcea, the message was related to a possible attack by the Russian Federation on some objectives on the territory of Ukraine, near the border with Romania.
