Pia, France – Residents of Pia enjoyed a unique chance to explore the world of aviation last Saturday, December 7th, with a special excursion organized by the local association Bien vivre à Pia.
the day began with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Airbus A350, marveling at the impressive aircraft up close. participants then embarked on a bus journey through the sprawling 700-hectare Airbus facilities in Toulouse, witnessing the intricate assembly line of the A350XWB and gaining insight into the meticulous production process.
A delicious lunch at a local restaurant provided a welcome break before the group delved into the fascinating world of aviation history at the Aéroscopia museum.
The excursion concluded with a return to Pia, where residents coudl enjoy the festive atmosphere of the town’s Christmas garden.
Bien vivre à pia is already planning its next adventure, a bus trip to Céret on January 11th to experience the “Splendeurs de Chine” festival. Local outings to the Byhrr museum in Thuir and the Le Tech confectionery factory at Mas Guerido are also scheduled for January.
