The value‌ of rental ‍contracts in‌ Ajman⁤ soared​ to AED1.355 billion​ ($369 ​million) in the first quarter of 2025, according to the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department. This considerable increase reflects a 41% jump compared to the same ⁣period three years prior, signaling robust growth in the emirate’s real estate sector.

Officials attribute this surge to the ⁤success of Ajman Vision 2030, ​which aims to cultivate a competitive business habitat and attract investment. The increase in Ajman real estate ‌ activity underscores⁢ the emirate’s growing appeal ​for both residents and businesses.

Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, ⁣director general‍ of the department, emphasized Ajman’s⁣ commitment to lasting advancement and ⁤enhancing the quality of ⁢life for ​it’s community. He noted that the emirate’s flexible regulations and digital ⁤transformation efforts have streamlined transactions,further boosting ​its attractiveness for investment and entrepreneurship.

The‌ total number of transactions completed in Q1 2025 reached 39,009, comprising 28,520 residential, 10,422 commercial,​ and 67‌ investment contract transactions. These figures highlight continuous improvements in authentication⁢ procedures and user facilitation, according to Noura Rashid Shataf, executive ‍director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness sector at the department.

The surge in rental contracts reflects strong confidence​ in Ajman as a desirable place to live and invest, supported by ongoing digital initiatives and streamlined processes.
