Akira Leaves Major League Wrestling, Declares Free Agency

Akira, the “Death Fighter,” has announced his departure from Major League Wrestling (MLW), opening a new chapter as a free agent. The move marks the end of his run with the promotion since debuting in 2023. Akira is known for his hardcore wrestling style.
During his time in MLW, Akira achieved considerable success, capturing both the MLW World Middleweight Championship and the MLW World Tag Team Championship. He was a prominent member of “The Calling,” a hardcore faction within the league.
With his exit, Akira is now seeking bookings on the independent circuit. He is scheduled to return to the U.S. in July.
