Al-Ahli Club Renews Contract with Star Player Akram Tawfiq

Following the recent signings by Al-Ahli Club, the team’s management is taking steps to preserve the core strength of its current players. A source close to the matter revealed that the planning committee has decided to renew the contract of team player Akram Tawfiq, which is set to expire at the end of next season.

Akram Tawfiq is expected to sign a new three-year contract with Al-Ahli Club. The source stated that the player will have an upcoming session with club officials to finalize the agreement.

Preliminary talks between Al-Ahly management and Akram Tawfiq have already taken place, but were temporarily put on hold due to the team’s break after the 2023-24 season. The team’s coach, Sami Kamis, and contract manager, Amir Tawfiq, have received the green light to start negotiations with the player and discuss his financial requirements for the new contract.

Akram Tawfiq has had a successful career with Al-Ahly Club, winning 15 championships, including five Egyptian Leagues, two Egyptian Super Cups, one African Super Cup, three African Champions Leagues, and four Egyptian Cups.
