Al-Ahli Saudi-German Team Ready to Face Persepolis in AFC Champions League

Al-Ahli Saudi-German team coach Matthias Zeiss has confirmed his team’s readiness to face Iranian side Persepolis in the first match of the elite AFC Champions League at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal City Stadium in Jeddah.

Speaking at a press conference held at the city’s press conference hall, Zeiss expressed his team’s excitement to participate in the tournament and play the first match. “We are definitely looking forward to presenting a prominent and positive level to score the first point in this tournament against a tough team,” he said.

Zeiss noted that the team has been preparing for the Asian Championship from the start of the season, and the players are ready to participate. The tournament lineup will be announced in due course.

Player Roberto Firmino also shared his thoughts on the upcoming match, stating that the record-breaking ticket sales have motivated the team to satisfy the fans and secure the first three points of the tournament.
