Al-Ahly Club Seeks to Strengthen Ranks with Carlos Strandberg
Al-Ahly club management continues to look to strengthen its first team ranks during the current summer transfer period, to enter the new season 2024-2025 strongly.
Turkish sources have confirmed that Al-Ahli Club have entered into serious talks with the management of Turkey’s Hatayspor to sign the team’s striker Carlos Strandberg this summer.
Sources indicated that Al-Ahly’s management started this serious discussion only yesterday, Friday, as no further steps have been taken yet on this potential deal file, the picture will be clearer in the next few days.
Sources have explained that the Hatespor club is still open to the idea of selling Carlos Strandberg to Al-Ahly, especially with the club close to signing Besiktas striker Vincent Abu Bakr this summer.
We contacted the Swedish striker’s agent, Carlos Strandberg, but he preferred not to comment on the matter, as he did not reveal whether there was any formal offer from the Al-Ahly club to include the player.
It is worth noting that Carlos Strandberg, 28 years old, moved to Hattaspor in the summer of 2023, on a free transfer from Qatar’s Al-Sailiya, and played 44 matches with the Turkish team, during which he scored 15 goals and assisted 2 others.
