René Weiler Praises⁢ Al-Ahli ‌Club’s Global Popularity

René Weiler, the former coach ⁢of ⁣Al-Ahli Club, has expressed ​his‍ admiration for the club’s immense popularity worldwide, stating that he has never witnessed anything similar⁣ in his coaching career.

During an analysis studio session on MBC Egypt, discussing the Al-Ahly and Al-Ain UAE match, Weiler emphasized, “It is extremely challenging to find an audience‍ like ​Al-Ahly’s anywhere in the‌ world.”

Weiler further added, “Throughout my coaching career, I have never ​encountered a ⁤group of fans at‌ the ‍Al-Ahly club ⁤with such greatness.”

René Weiler took over coaching duties at Al-Ahli Club in August 2019 and remained in the position until October‍ 2020.

Al-Ahli is set to face Al-Ain of the United Arab ⁣Emirates in the Intercontinental Cup tournament at the Cairo International Stadium.
