Al-Fateh’s Worst Start in Roshan League: A Blessing in Disguise
Al-Fateh Suffers Fresh Loss in 2024/2025 Roshan League
Al-Fateh’s struggles in the 2024/2025 Roshan League continued as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Al-Raed in the eighth round of the competition.
The team’s winless streak has been ongoing since their 1-0 victory against Al-Ahli in the second round on August 27. Al-Fateh’s season began with a 3-0 defeat to Al-Qadisiya, followed by a win over Al-Ahly, but they have since been unable to secure a win.
Al-Fateh’s recent losses include a 2-1 defeat to Al-Ittifaq, a 1-0 loss to Al-Oruba, a 4-2 loss to Al-Akhdoud, and a 2-0 loss to Al-Tawun. Their only non-loss in recent matches was a 1-1 draw with Al-Khulaud.
Currently, Al-Fateh occupies the last place in the competition ranking table with 4 points, marking a historically negative number for the team in the Roshan League. Notably, they have not won a single game away from their home stadium this season, losing four times.
However, Al-Fateh avoided another negative record of not scoring away goals after 8 rounds, thanks to Abdulaziz Al-Eneji’s goal in the 85th minute of their match against Al-Raed.
