Al-Hilal’s Saudi Clasico Showdown: Bono and Lodi Return to Face Off Against Al-Nasr
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus explained that his Moroccan goalkeeper Yassin Bouno could return to take part in next Friday’s Riyadh derby against Al-Nasr, as well as his Brazilian colleague Renan Lodi.
Bono has been absent since picking up an injury during the international break with the Moroccan national team, with the Brazilian full-back feeling sore during Saturday’s match between Al-Taoun.
Jesus said in a statement to reporters: “We are following Bono closely, he is feeling better every day and is closer to returning, and I believe he will be ready to face Al-Nasr.”
The Portuguese coach continued, “Lodi’s injury is not big in my opinion. He may not play against Al-Tai in the cup, but I think he will be ready for the match against Al-Nasr.”
He continued, “We will face some difficult times in the league. Clubs like Al-Ittihad Jeddah, Al-Ahli Jeddah, Al-Shabaab and Al-Tawoun have become better. I hope to overcome all. Challenges and difficulties and stumbling blocks. No.”
He concluded, “The party we have built is very strong, and many want to lose it. We know that. They are opinions and we respect them, but it is not a condition that we agree with them.”
Al-Hilal continued their winning streak when they beat Al-Taoun 2-0 in the eighth round of the Saudi League.
With 8 wins from 8 matches Al Hilal increased their score to 24 points at the top.
