Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In a move aimed at bolstering its competitive edge, Al-Nasr Club has announced the appointment of Majed Al-Zaman as its new Chief Executive Officer. The club’s Board of Directors selected Al-Zaman, a former player and experienced sports administrator, to spearhead the implementation of Al-nasr’s ambitious growth strategy.”This appointment is a key step in enhancing Al-Nasr’s capacity and competitiveness both domestically and internationally,” the club stated in an official declaration. “We believe Mr. Al-Zaman’s leadership will help us meet the aspirations of our passionate fans and contribute to the growth of the sports sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.”

Al-Zaman brings a wealth of experience to the role. Beyond his time as a player for Al-Nasr, he has served on the club’s Board of Directors and held prominent positions in the international sports arena. Notably, he was a member of the Board of Directors for Newcastle United in England and served as vice President of the Saudi Golf Federation and CEO of the Saudi Golf Company.

The Board expressed gratitude to outgoing CEO, Professor Guido Finga, for his contributions during his tenure. Finga will remain involved with the club as an advisor.
