Al-Ittihad signed a young Venezuelan player and loaned him to Jeddah

Al-Ittihad Club today, Friday, announced the signing of young Venezuelan player Bryant Ortega and also announced the player’s loan agreement to Jeddah Club for one season, Al-Ittihad Club reported through its official account in the media center. “X” website for social networking (formerly Twitter).

Al-Ittihad Club said in a statement, “As part of the club’s strategy to attract promising young talent and invest in their development in order to support the first football team in the future or benefit from them as an investment, the club announced an agreement. With the Venezuelan player Bryant Ortega for three years, and the club announced its agreement with the Jeddah club to loan the player to their ranks to represent the first division.”

The Al-Ittihad club added, “The player was chosen as part of the club’s strategy to attract talent after following his career as a young player, who was able to secure a key place in the roster of his Venezuelan side Caracas, where he played in Venezuela’s competition, the Copa Played 75 matches for the Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana as the team prepares to participate in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on the South American continent.

Al-Ittihad Club continued, “The Club’s Sporting Director, Mr. Ramon Blanes, welcomed the player Bryant Ortega to Al-Ittihad Club and wished him an excellent professional experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, explaining that the contract with the player was made after studies. And the follow-up of the recruitment department in the technical administration of the club, which follows many talents around the country, in order to select the world’s most suitable people to be included in their club as part of the club’s project to develop the football sector. In line with the best practices applied worldwide, which depends on talent discovery and not only on players reaching relatively advanced stages in their professional careers as this would cost the club coffers a lot of money, the club cannot acquire the necessary investment to think about re-marketing them.
