Al-Tawoun Club won the Al-Qasim derby against Al-Raed in the 12th round of the Saudi Roshan League. The match ended with a score of 1-0, thanks to a goal from Adam in the 78th minute. This victory marked Al-Tawoun’s second win in the last three matches, bringing their total points to 18. They currently sit in eighth place, ahead of Al-Riyadh on goal difference.

Al-Raed remains in tenth place with 14 points after losing three out of their last four matches. The game began with Al-Raed demonstrating offensive pressure, evident when Adam hit the crossbar with a shot in the 15th minute.

Al-Tawoun controlled play for much of the match and took the lead with Adam’s goal following a well-placed pass from Musa Barrow. Adam celebrated his goal with enthusiasm, removing his shirt, resulting in a yellow card.

In stoppage time, Al-Raed captain Karim Al-Barqawi almost equalized, but goalkeeper Maysalon made a critical save. Substitute Mateus Castro also posed a threat, passing to Joao Pedro, but Al-Raed’s Andre Moreira blocked the shot effectively.

The match showcased both teams’ determination, but Al-Tawoun ultimately secured a crucial victory at home.
