Ezavier Crowell, Top Running Back Recruit, Chooses Alabama
Ezavier Crowell, a highly touted four-star recruit and one of Alabama’s top recruits, has committed to play for the Crimson Tide. The Jackson, Ala., native is ranked as the No. 2 running back in the Class of 2026.
Crowell chose Alabama over offers from Auburn, Texas and georgia. He will join mack Sutter, a top-100 recruit and No. 6-ranked tight end, in the incoming class. Sutter, from Dunlap, Ill.,had multiple offers after recording seven touchdown receptions last season.
As a junior, Crowell lead jackson High to a Class 4A state championship. He rushed for 1,964 yards and scored 31 touchdowns. According to 247 Sports composite rankings, Crowell is the No. 33 overall prospect and No.3 in the state.
Crowell reclassified from the 2027 class in January. As a freshman in 2023, he rushed for 1,737 yards at Jackson High School. His commitment bolsters alabama’s recruiting class and adds another dynamic playmaker to their offense. The Crimson tide are looking to Crowell to make an immediate impact.
