SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Alaska Nanooks women’s basketball game scheduled for today against San Francisco State University has been canceled due to a campus-wide shelter-in-place order.
University Police received an anonymous tip of potential violence earlier today, prompting the lockdown and cancellation of all classes and activities.
The Nanooks will now have a break until the new year, when thay are scheduled to face Central Washington and Northwest nazarene on January 2-4, 2025.
