Singer-songwriter Alex Warren is celebrating his first No. 1 hit as “Ordinary” climbed to the top spot on the billboard Hot 100.The track, a testament to Warren’s connection with his audience, rose from No. 4 after previously peaking at No. 2.
Warren’s ”Ordinary” is making waves as the first song with that title to top the Hot 100. It’s also the first No. 1 for a male soloist this year. Before his solo success, Warren gained recognition as part of Hype House, a collaborative group of TikTok content creators. He signed with Atlantic Records in 2022.
The song’s rise to the top is fueled by strong metrics across various platforms.”Ordinary” tallied 43.5 million radio airplay audience impressions, a 15% increase, along with 21 million official streams.
