Alexandria Witnesses Relative Improvement in Weather Conditions

Alexandria – Mohammad Amer: Weather conditions in Alexandria showed a relative improvement on Monday morning, with the rain stopping and clouds clearing, followed by occasional sunshine after a rainy night.

The Alexandria Sanitation Company has announced its continued state of emergency and preparedness, deploying suction vehicles and equipment on the streets due to forecasts of continued rain.

Cold Weather and Rain Expected to Continue

Meteorological authorities predict colder weather to continue tonight and early morning, with moderate rainfall in Alexandria Governorate and the northern coast, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.

Major General Mahmoud Nafi, head of the Alexandria Sanitation Company, emphasized the continued suspension of rest breaks and intensified disinfection work in all network elements, including “al-Shanayesh, pipes, and lifting cesspools, and treatment stations.”

Weather Conditions Affect Temperature and Marine Traffic

Areas around Alexandria experienced a mix of weather conditions, including light to moderate rainfall and a noticeable drop in temperature yesterday evening, without affecting marine traffic at the port of Alexandria and Miheila.
