Ray Keane’s Coaching Career
Originally from Kerry, Keane has made a significant impact on Cork Gaelic football through his dedication to club management. He initially found success with Éire Óg, guiding them to numerous underage triumphs. This early success laid the foundation for his later achievements.
Keane’s involvement with St. Finbarr’s, under the mentorship of Tony Leahy, further honed his skills. he eventually took the helm as manager of the Barrs, leading them to a momentous Cork Senior football Championship (SFC) victory in 2018 – ending a 33-year drought for the club. Currently, he manages Aghabullogue, who are well-positioned to advance to the knockout stages of the McCarthy Insurance Group PIFC.
