cork GAA has outlined‌ its ticket allocation policy ⁣for teh upcoming All-Ireland Hurling Final, alongside details of fundraising events ‍surrounding the match. With demand exceeding supply, understanding the⁢ distribution process is crucial for supporters. This article provides a detailed⁤ breakdown of⁢ ticket allocations, event facts, and key⁣ contacts for⁤ those hoping to ⁢attend.

Ticket Allocation Breakdown for the All-Ireland Final

The allocation of ⁣tickets‌ for the All-Ireland Hurling Final is a ⁢multi-layered process, prioritizing players, officials, and club members. This year, Cork County Board has emphasized that direct requests for tickets cannot be fulfilled, directing supporters to⁤ their ⁤local clubs.

Club Ticket Distribution

The core of the⁤ ticket distribution lies with the clubs.Allocations ⁤are based on a club’s playing grade,⁣ with differing amounts for hurling and football clubs.

Junior B/C: Ten stand tickets, eight terrace tickets.
Last Year’s Second Round Allocations: Additional allocations‍ were made last year,⁢ including 14 senior, intermediate, and premier junior ten tickets, and junior A, B, and C six tickets.
Football vs. Hurling Equity: Unlike previous years where football affiliations received no stand ‌tickets, the increased capacity of Croke Park allows football clubs to receive⁤ an equivalent allocation to⁤ their hurling counterparts.
County Board Delegates: Each county board delegate receives two tickets, autonomous of their‌ club’s overall allocation.
Players on Cork Senior Hurling Panel: Clubs‍ with players on the Cork senior hurling panel receive ten terrace tickets per player. This is ‍a reduction from⁢ last ⁤year’s allocation of 12 stand tickets and eight terrace tickets per player.Example Allocation: Premier ⁤Senior Hurling⁢ Club Glen Rovers, with four players on the Cork senior hurling panel, will receive 20 stand tickets and⁤ 40 terrace tickets (10 terrace tickets⁢ x 4 players). Their⁣ football sister club,⁣ St Nick’s, will ⁣receive 16 stand⁣ tickets and 20 terrace tickets. This results in‍ a combined total of 120 tickets across both ⁤clubs.

Increased Demand & Ticket Numbers

The total number of tickets allocated for the All-Ireland finals⁤ increased from 57,449 in 2023 to 59,212 in‌ 2024, reflecting ⁢the ‍growing popularity of the games. despite this increase, demand continues to significantly outstrip supply.⁤ Cork County Board has reiterated its policy of prioritizing established criteria and discouraging direct ticket requests.

Fundraising Events Surrounding the All-Ireland ‌Final

Cork GAA is hosting two key fundraising events to support⁢ the team: a gala dinner and a post-match banquet. While these events offer opportunities to celebrate, ‍it’s significant to note that attendance does‌ not guarantee‌ match tickets.

Gala Dinner at Páirc Uí Chaoimh

A ‌four-course meal with‍ a Heineken-sponsored drinks reception will be held at SuperValu Páirc Uí‍ Chaoimh on Wednesday, July 16th.The⁣ event will feature pre-All-Ireland final analysis ⁤from⁣ special guests.
