Broadway Star Amanda Kloots Launches Wellness Line for the Everyday Woman
Amanda Kloots, the Tony-nominated broadway star and television personality, is expanding her empire into the wellness world with a new supplement line designed specifically for busy women like herself.
Kloots, known for her resilience and strength after losing her husband, Nick Cordero, to COVID-19 in 2020, wanted to create a product that addressed the unique needs of women juggling demanding schedules and responsibilities.
“I wanted to create a supplement that was really good, tasted good, I wanted to take, and that really met the needs of somebody like me: this everyday woman that is running on empty, trying to raise her family,” Kloots said.
Partnering with Ben Bennett, founder and CEO of The Center, Kloots found a kindred spirit who understood her vision. Both hailing from Ohio and raised by single mothers, the duo connected over their shared experiences and desire to empower women.
“There’s a lot of parallels in our lives, but what rang the bells for me when we talked about what she wanted to do was thinking about the challenges that a working woman has on a daily basis,” Bennett said.

Unlike many supplement brands targeting athletes or those seeking extreme results, kloots and Bennett focused on creating a line that was accessible and affordable for the average woman.
“She didn’t want to make an all-encompassing super supplement for these super athletes,” Bennett explained. “When we look at other brands, we see who we think their customer is, and it doesn’t feel like it’s our girl.”
Kloots added: “It was crucial for us to make something that was affordable and attainable to everyone, so that you felt like you were getting so much bang for yoru buck.”
Priced at just $28 for a 30-day supply, the supplements are designed to be used as needed and in conjunction with each other, allowing women to tailor their wellness routine to their individual needs.
“I basically looked at my day and and my week, or even my month, and [figured] out how every day is different,” Kloots said. “We’re not these people that need the same thing every single day. Sometimes my day is filled with stress and anxiety and I need something to help me calm down. Sometimes I’m eating super healthy and I don’t need a daily greens… You can tailor it to what you need.”
In addition to the powder blends, proper will also offer a water bottle for $14 and an electric mixer for $13. Industry sources predict the brand could reach between $15 million and $18 million in retail sales in its first year.
Amanda Kloots Serves Up Wellness with New Supplement Line ‘Proper’
Fitness entrepreneur and TV personality Amanda Kloots is taking her dedication to wellness a step further with the launch of Proper,a new line of superfood-packed supplements designed to make healthy living easier and more enjoyable for busy individuals.
Kloots, known for her energetic personality and commitment to a healthy lifestyle, saw a gap in the market for supplements that were both effective and enjoyable to consume. “I think people are tired of swallowing pills and choking down chalky powders,” she said. “We want to make taking care of your health something you actually look forward to.”
Proper, backed by The Center, a renowned beauty incubator known for launching successful brands like Summer Fridays and Youth To The People, is entering the market with a focus on taste and convenience. The brand’s initial lineup includes five powdered supplements designed to support various aspects of well-being, from immunity and gut health to energy and focus.
“We’re launching with five powders, but there’s a very healthy pipeline of product coming,” said Bennett, CEO of The Center. “There are two additional powders coming in 2025 and there will be new categories of product also… What amanda’s really focused on is looking at new formats that are convenient and delicious.”
Proper emphasizes using high-quality ingredients and avoids artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors. This commitment to quality aligns with Kloots’ own philosophy of holistic wellness. This launch marks a notable milestone for The Center, as it ventures into the wellness space for the first time. “For the better part of a decade we’ve seen the blurring of lines between [beauty and wellness],” Bennett explained. “It feels like consumers are really agreeable to thinking about the categories together and understand that holistic inside-outside approach to wellness and beauty, so it made a lot of sense.”
With its focus on taste, convenience, and efficacy, Proper is aiming to become a go-to brand for consumers looking for a more enjoyable and sustainable way to support their health and well-being. The brand is currently available online and is expected to launch in major retail stores later this year.br />
