Amaral at Sansan Festival 2024

The band Amaral began their 2024 tour with a performance at the SanSan Festival in Benicàssim on March 29, 2024.

The concert took place at the Recinto de Festivales de Benicàssim in Spain and served as the first show of the group’s new touring cycle.

This tour celebrates the Zaragozan band’s 25 years in the music industry, a milestone for which celebrations had already commenced in 2023.

Amaral performed during the second day of the festival, sharing the billing with La Oreja de Van Gogh. More than 22,000 people attended the event on that date.

The group opened their set with the song Sin ti no soy nada. This track, composed by Juan Aguirre, explores themes of emotional dependency and toxic love; it is typically performed toward the end of the band’s setlists, but was placed at the beginning for this performance to act as a starting point for a series of songs summarizing their career.

Following the opening number, the band performed Mares igual que tú and Días de verano. During the performance, lead singer Eva expressed that the band felt both nervous and excited, noting that this was the first concert of the new tour.

The 2024 edition of the SanSan Festival attracted a total of more than 65,000 spectators.
