Swift Resolution ​to Missing Child Case

An ​Amber Alert issued earlier Saturday afternoon for an⁢ 11-year-old girl last seen in Manchester,⁣ Connecticut, ‌has ⁢been canceled. The girl was⁤ located safe in Hartford shortly after the alert was ⁤publicized by ‌authorities.

East Hartford Police⁤ initiated the Amber ‌Alert just before 2:00 PM on September 20, 2024, expressing concern that ⁣the ⁤child was with her father, ‌who was the subject of a federal warrant. Investigators believed the father was attempting to evade law enforcement ⁤with ⁤the girl.
