AMD highlighted its expanded vision ‌and product delivery⁣ pace at​ its Advancing ​AI event, showcasing advancements ​across AI⁤ infrastructure and GenAI-powered solutions.The company ⁤emphasized its reach across critical parts of the ​AI ‌ecosystem, from GPUs to networking​ and software.

The event featured the ⁢official launch of the Instinct ‍MI350 and MI355X GPU-based chips, built on a 3nm process with up⁣ to​ 288 MB of HBM3E memory. AMD’s testing indicates these chips match⁢ or exceed Nvidia’s Blackwell 200 performance on certain benchmarks, with improvements ⁣in inferencing ⁢speed and cost per token.

AMD also‌ shared details‍ about its next-generation MI400, slated for release​ next year, and teased the MI500 for 2027. The MI400 will offer up to 432⁢ GB of HBM4 memory and significant memory bandwidth, crucial for running larger models ​and assembling large rack systems.
