American musician plays violin by lake, attracts turtles | Attraction | Clejan

[Epoch Times September 1, 2024](Epoch Times reporter Chen Juncun reported) An American musician and internet celebrity was playing the violin by the lake recently, and unexpectedly attracted a group of turtles. They not only swam over, but also floated to the surface and even wanted to climb ashore, as if they wanted to enjoy the beautiful music he played. Perhaps this proves that music is attractive to animals.

The internet celebrity named Clejan shared a video on Instagram in May of him playing violin by a lake. The song he played was a violin version of the song “Crazy Train” by British singer Ozzy Osbourne.

Amid the melodious music, groups of turtles began to emerge from the murky lake water, eager to approach and explore the source of the sound.

Clay Young wrote on Instagram that he had not expected the turtles to be attracted. “Please call me turtle whisperer,” he said.

Clay Young’s fans asked him to share more footage of him playing violin for the turtle, and he was happy to do so, and shared other footage as well.

Clay Young grew up in Atlanta. He initially trained as a classical musician and later became interested in rap and hip-hop, but ultimately “played it safe” and earned a business degree and began a more traditional career as a successful influencer and performing artist.

Clay Young has more than 1 million followers across multiple social media platforms, but that doesn’t include the turtles that listen to him play violin by the lake.

In addition to turtles, there have also been musicians who played music to cows on farms and attracted them over, which is a new interpretation of “playing the lute to cows”.

The Epoch Times previously reported that in 2014, several musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra in Ohio visited the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in New York State.

These musicians played music with instruments such as violins, oboes and guitars they carried with them to test the cows’ preference for music, which attracted the cows.
