‘American Warrior’ Packs a Punch at Culver City Film Festival
Los Angeles, CA – The gripping drama “american warrior,” which captivated audiences at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last month, continued its winning streak with a screening at the Culver City Film Festival on December 14th.
the film,a powerful story of redemption,resilience,and change,has been making waves on the international film circuit.
“The film meant everything to me—it’s my life,my blood,sweat,and tears for over 10 years,” shared Vishy Ayyar,who stars as the film’s protagonist. “I loved it, breathed it, and it brought me to my knees. At the same time, my heart was filled with gratitude. This project had been my baby, and I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of my team.”
Ayyar expressed his deep appreciation for the collaborative effort behind the film, highlighting the contributions of lead producer Naveen Chathapuram, manager-turned-producer Cristy coors Beasley, and the invaluable support from Women and Cloud’s Rashana Shah and Chaitra. The film’s success has been further cemented by multiple accolades, including best Actress for Veronica Falcón and Best Cinematographer for Derek Fisher.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Omi Vaidya, best known for his role as ”Chatur Ramalingam” in the Bollywood blockbuster “3 Idiots,” and Danny Trejo, the iconic action star known for his roles in films like “Machete.”
Veronica Falcón, recognized for her performance in the hit series “Ozark,” portrays “Marcella,” the determined owner of a local gym, while Andrew Gray, who starred as the Red ranger in “Power Rangers Megaforce,” takes on the role of “marcus,” Jai’s formidable opponent in the ring.
“American Warrior” is set to make its worldwide debut in April 2025.
