America’s Cultivation Corridor has announced the inaugural cohort of its new statewide professional development initiative, Cultivate 360, targeting mid-career professionals in Iowa’s food and agriculture sector.
The program includes 42 participants representing a diverse range of companies, universities, and organizations across the state, including major employers such as John Deere, Corteva, Iowa State University, and Syngenta.
Cultivate 360 is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of Iowa’s food and agriculture industry, strengthen leadership skills, and expand professional networks through a series of daylong sessions held across the state from May through August 2026.
Collaboration is at the heart of Iowa’s agricultural leadership; bringing together more than 40 professionals to build networks, strengthen leadership skills and enhance understanding of our industry will pay dividends as these leaders apply what they’ve learned in their communities and organizations.
Billi Hunt, executive director of America’s Cultivation Corridor
The first session of the Cultivate 360 program is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Sukup Manufacturing Co. In Sheffield, Iowa.
Participants will attend four daylong sessions in total, with locations spread across Iowa to provide broad geographic exposure to different facets of the state’s agricultural economy.
The initiative reflects a broader effort to strengthen collaboration and leadership within Iowa’s agricultural sector, which remains a cornerstone of the state’s economy.
