Analyst names 5 NFL teams likely to downsize this season
The Baltimore Ravens have been considered the best team in the league throughout the 2023 NFL season, with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson returning as one of the elite players under center.
The Ravens were good offensively, Jackson won his second NFL MVP award, and the defense was outstanding, making Baltimore one of the best teams in the league.
The Ravens entered the NFL playoffs as the best team in the NFL, but Baltimore was eliminated in the AFC Championship Game after defeating C.J. Stroud and the upstart Houston Texans in the previous round.
Jackson and his company couldn’t play against the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs because their shortcomings were exposed, including their superstar quarterback not being MVP-caliber.
ESPN’s Bill Barnwell, via NFL on ESPN, thinks the Ravens will be one of the teams in decline heading into the 2024 NFL season.
Barnwell thinks the Ravens, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns, will all be in decline in the 2024 season.

The three teams that stand out on this list are the Ravens, Eagles, and Browns. Many are predicting that these three teams will be playoff teams and potential Super Bowl contenders.
Baltimore’s success will largely depend on Jackson having another solid season and showing an offense that could be potent if all goes well during the regular season.
