Google‌ announced teh ‍rollout of gemini⁢ for Android Auto in november 2025, but access remains limited for most drivers as of late January 2026.

First announced‌ in ⁣May 2025, Google confirmed rollout plans in November, stating the⁢ feature would become ​available “over the ⁣coming months.” However,over two months later,many⁢ drivers ‌still haven’t gained access.

Discussion forums ⁤like r/AndroidAuto are filled with users reporting they still lack access. A 9to5Google poll⁢ conducted earlier ⁤this month revealed that 92% of respondents ‌do not have Gemini‍ on⁤ Android auto, with only 3% reporting access⁢ within⁤ the past couple of‍ weeks.
