On Playing Charlie in ‘Aspergirl’
Rohé discussed her character, Charlie, and the connection she feels to the role. “I play the character of Charlie, its center of interest is the phasmes but I was not very comfortable with the phasmes and I was in the middle of Rapunzel, So I asked for what she likes chameleons. They accept [les auteurs] That I change things then Charlie was passionate about chameleons,” Rohé said. “(Charlie) She reminds me of Hermione Granger[[Harry Potter]a little pretentious because she knows a lot. Cannes Series Festival Experiance
Reflecting on her experience at the Cannes Series festival, Rohé said, ”It went super well, we left at 6 a.m. from the Lyon station. We all knew that it was going to be a big day. We were the most large team: three authors,a producer, two directors and five actors. I was able to talk about autism in Cannes. The pink carpet is too good, but talking about autism is even better. I told them that in autism, there was autism by autistic and that I do not recognize myself in all the situations and reactions of Louison [personnage principal] But from others, yes.”
Rohé also mentioned the support she receives when attending such events. “My sister helps me and accompanies me every time I meet a new team. I need a landmark. I sleep a lot the day before,I take my relaxing objects,I make cards and I prepare to see new faces.”
finding Beauty in Autism
Rohé shared how her involvement with Aspergirl has impacted her personally. “At the time, I was trying to understand HPI [haut potentiel intellectuel] To understand my TOC [trouble obsessionnel compulsif] But it didn’t work. I recognized myself through insta women’s institutes, it was one of them that rests a casting and I signed up. I was able to be myself on the set, this was not the case in progress. There, I had the right to be myself, it was an infinite relief. This is what reconciled me with autism and I was able to say that autism is gorgeous. On the set, my emotions are welcomed and it resounded for me.”
