This call came during a Land Transportation Office (LTO) public consultation on Administrative Order VDM 2024-46,organized by Angkas CEO and party-list nominee George Royeca.

While acknowledging the LTO’s efforts to improve clarity and safety in vehicle ownership transfers, Royeca emphasized the need for equitable policies that consider the realities faced by riders, especially those who rely on motorcycles for their livelihood.
“We must ensure that the implementation of AO-VDM 2024-46 is both just and practical for all stakeholders,” Royeca stated. “this will encourage compliance, especially for those who depend on motorcycles for their daily income.”
Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II,who led the consultation,stressed the importance of stakeholder engagement in crafting effective and fair policies.
The event highlighted Angkasangga’s commitment to fostering public-private partnerships to address systemic challenges within the transportation sector.
