The proposal occurred on December 25, 2025, at McCord’s residence in Los Angeles. According to reports from People, the 38-year-old actress was surprised by Cipriani, who presented her with a 15-carat diamond ring.

McCord described the emotional impact of the moment in an interview published on April 11, 2026, stating that she cried for 10 minutes straight during the proposal.

Relationship History and Reconciliation

The couple first met approximately a decade ago through the dating application Raya. Following their initial meeting, they maintained an open relationship for four years. However, the pair ended their relationship in 2020.

After several years apart, McCord and Cipriani rekindled their romance in early 2024. McCord has characterized their current connection as honest and real.
