Anne Burrell, the platinum-blond Food Network star ⁤known for her wit and culinary talent, has died. She was 55. Burrell, a beloved chef and television‍ personality, passed away June 17 at her home in Brooklyn, N.Y., according to⁤ a statement from her representatives.

Burrell was a familiar face on the​ Food Network for two decades. Before hosting “Worst Cooks in America” starting in 2010, she appeared on‍ shows such as “Iron Chef America,” “Chef Wanted,” and “Chopped.”⁤ Moast recently, the culinary talent competed⁣ on “House of Knives,”‍ which premiered in March 2025.

Her family described the Food Network star as ⁢a “beloved wife, sister, daughter,⁢ stepmother, and friend,” adding⁤ that her influence extended far beyond her immediate circle. A cause⁤ of death was not released.
