Anne Burrell, Food Network star, Dies at 55: Remembering Her Role

Anne Burrell, the Food Network star and host of “Worst Cooks in America,” died June 17 at age 55. police responded to a call at her Brooklyn home at approximately 8 a.m., where they found her unresponsive, officials said.
Emergency medical services pronounced Burrell dead at the scene, according to the New York City Police Department. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Burrell’s family,including husband Stuart Claxton,stepson Javier,mother Marlene,and sister Jane,released a statement praising her. They highlighted her important role in their lives.
“Her smile lit up every room she entered,” the family said. “Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”
