Antalya Municipality Operation: Mayor’s Daughter-in-Law and 34 Officials Detained

The operations involve a series of detention orders and arrests targeting municipal officials and family members of Muhittin Böcek.

Operation Against ANSET

One component of the legal action specifically targeted ANSET, a subsidiary of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Detention orders were issued for 34 individuals in connection with this operation, including Muhittin Böcek.

Reports indicate that the scope of the raids extended to a broader group of personnel, with 34 officials from the municipality being taken into custody.

Investigation Involving Zuhal Böcek

In a separate but related development, authorities issued detention orders for Zuhal Böcek, the daughter-in-law of Muhittin Böcek, and two other suspects.

This specific action is linked to an investigation involving the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB). Zuhal Böcek has been taken into custody as part of this probe.

The combined actions have been described as a double operation against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, involving both the subsidiary ANSET and the wider investigation linked to the İBB.
