Anthony Garrett Sets New Record with 12-Second KO at BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles

BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles Highlights

Anthony Garrett set a new record for the fastest knockout in BKFC heavyweight history with a 12-second KO of Lavar Johnson. The fight took place at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA, during the Main Event on Saturday. Garrett improves to 2-0 in his BKFC career, having previously knocked out John Orr in 16 seconds during his debut in August.

Garrett expressed confidence in his post-fight interview, stating, “Heavyweight division, you’re on notice! Anthony Garrett is in the house — let’s go.” Lavar Johnson, now 2-1 in bare knuckle fighting, hails from Madera, CA.

In the Co-Main Event, Bovar Khanakov defeated Ruben Warr by unanimous decision with scores of 50-45, 50-45, and 49-46. Khanakov, from Mariupol, Ukraine, raised his record to 5-3, while Warr is now 2-1, 1 NC.

Brandon Conley won his fight against Keith Richardson by TKO in the second round when the ringside doctor intervened due to Richardson’s eye injury. Conley improves to 2-0, while Richardson now stands at 2-1.

Chase Gormley made an impressive BKFC debut, scoring a second-round KO against Tyler Sijohn after delivering four knockdowns. Sijohn was making his own debut and hails from Plummer, ID.

Danasabe Mohammed achieved his first victory in BKFC, defeating Rodney Thomas with a one-punch KO just nine seconds into the second round. Mohammed is now 1-2, and Thomas falls to 0-2.

Ryan Petersen won his BKFC debut, stopping Dan Godoy via TKO in the second round due to eye damage. Godoy is now 0-2.

Michael Manno evened his record to 2-2 by defeating Vinnie Familari with a TKO at the end of the fourth round. Familari’s record now stands at 1-1.

In a thrilling one-round match, Mike Hansen secured a TKO against Dom Carey after being knocked down twice. Hansen improved his record to 2-0, while Carey now stands at 1-1.

Steven Sainsbury rebounded from a knockdown to win against Paulo Games by TKO in the third round. This marked a strong performance for the debuting middleweights.

Cody Vidal scored a second-round TKO against Kevin Sims, sending Sims to the canvas five times. Vidal is now 1-1, while Sims remains winless at 0-1.
