Anthony Joshua’s Driver in Nigerian Fatal Crash Court Appearance

A driver charged in connection with a ⁤fatal crash in⁢ Nigeria, which killed two passengers and injured boxer Anthony Joshua, has appeared in court.

Joshua, ⁢a two-time world champion, was travelling in the ‌back of a black Lexus SUV when it struck a stationary truck on⁢ a major road, near NigeriaS largest city Lagos, on 29 December.

His friends ⁢Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami were killed.

Ghami was Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele was a trainer and described as being like a ‌”twin brother” to joshua.

The crash happened on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Sagamu, at about midday local time (11am UK time) on 29 December, according to the Nigerian federal road safety corps (FRSC).

Joshua,⁣ who ⁢was born in Watford to Nigerian parents, was on holiday in Nigeria following his win over Jake​ Paul in Miami on 19 December.
