Sherien Copes has publicly accused her husband, Apollo Nida, of infidelity and narcissistic behavior. Copes shared what she claims is evidence of Apollo Nida cheating via video and text messages on Instagram.
Copes alleges that Nida brought another woman into their home while she was out of town. “I found my voice, he lost his mask!” Copes wrote, alongside screenshots from surveillance footage.
The footage purportedly shows Nida with an unidentified woman in copes’ kitchen. One image appears to show him kissing her neck. Copes said the footage is timestamped May 17 at 1:36 a.m., one day after Nida allegedly denied seeing anyone else.
Copes also posted a series of text messages she claims are from Nida following the alleged incident. In the texts, Nida seems to deny the Apollo Nida cheating allegations and expresses a desire to repair their relationship.
“I never brought women to OUR house and I’ve never put nobody in the bed,” one message read. In another, nida purportedly pleads for a second chance, saying he wants his family back.
Nida also allegedly apologized for past actions, writing, “I neglected you and I’m sooo sorry. I NEED you and my family back.” copes expressed frustration, describing what she sees as emotional manipulation and narcissism.
“He doesn’t love. He feeds on attention, admiration and easy access,” she wrote. “This is what narcissistic abuse looks like.And this is why I speak out.”
Copes filed for divorce from Nida in February, citing that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Court documents indicate they had been separated since November 2023.
Their relationship became public when Copes appeared on season 9 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” while Nida was still legally married to Phaedra Parks.
