This year’s 90-minute session, titled “Direct Your Own Friendship Film on iPad,” focuses on collaborative filmmaking.Apple describes the session:
We invite kids ages 6–10 and their families to explore the magic of filmmaking on iPad with iMovie. Campers will collaborate as they direct, record, edit, and more to make a friendship film that celebrates how we’re better when we come together. Devices provided.
Apple provides iPads for use during the sessions, eliminating the need for families to bring their own equipment. Hearing loop technology is also available upon request for sessions involving sound amplification.
Participants receive a special edition Apple Camp T-shirt made entirely from recycled materials.
