Apple is currently holding its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC),showcasing upcoming features for its devices. A key proclamation is the integration of digital IDs into Apple Wallet, allowing users to store their passports for use at Transportation Security Governance (TSA) checkpoints.
The digital ID feature will launch with iOS 26 this fall. Apple said the refreshed boarding passes will offer real-time flight updates. The company added that Apple Wallet will provide convenient access to airport navigation via Maps and Find My for tracking luggage.
