Apple Integrates Gemini to Save Siri’s Future vs. Google
The speculation and isolated advancement in Cupertino have ended. Apple and Google announced, this Monday, an official collaboration to integrate the search giant’s technology into the iPhone ecosystem. the objective is to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) functionalities that have been delayed, including the long-promised renewal of the virtual assistant Siri.
According to a joint statement from the two companies, as initially reported by CNBC, Apple’s AI infrastructure will now be based on Gemini models and Google’s cloud technology.
