Apple launched its all-in-one Apple Business platform on April 14, 2026, creating a unified ecosystem for companies to handle device management, employee communications, and customer engagement. The launch includes a refreshed web portal and a companion application designed to streamline operations for businesses of all sizes.
The new platform aggregates several previously standalone business-focused offerings, including Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Connect. By consolidating these tools, Apple provides organizations with a single point of control for managing their hardware, staff, and brand presence across the Apple ecosystem.
Unified Device Management and Deployment
Apple Business integrates built-in mobile device management (MDM) tools, allowing administrators to configure security policies, device settings, user groups, and available applications from a centralized location.

To simplify the onboarding process, the platform introduces a Blueprints
option. This feature enables employers to preconfigure devices purchased through Apple or authorized retailers with specific apps and settings, facilitating zero-touch deployment where devices are ready for use immediately upon arrival.
From the employee perspective, the Apple Business app allows staff to install required work-related applications, contact colleagues via a company directory, and request technical support directly from their employer.
Identity Management and Account Security
The platform utilizes Managed Apple Accounts to maintain cryptographic separation
between an employee’s personal data and their professional work data. This architecture is intended to remove the need for employees to carry multiple physical devices to keep their personal and work lives distinct.
To reduce administrative overhead, Apple Business supports automated provisioning. Companies can integrate their existing identity providers, such as Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, to manage account creation and authentication.
Communication and Brand Integration
Apple Business provides integrated directory, calendar, and email services that support custom domain names, allowing businesses to maintain professional branding for their internal and external communications.
Beyond internal operations, the platform includes tools for customer engagement. Businesses can manage their brand profiles as they appear across various Apple services, including Spotlight, Siri, and Safari.
The customer-facing features extend to several other integrated services:
- Customizable place cards within Apple Maps.
- Branded communications delivered via Apple Mail.
- Order tracking integrated into the Wallet app.
- Branding for Tap to Pay transactions.
Local Discovery and Advertising Expansion
Apple is expanding its local discovery capabilities by introducing advertisements within Apple Maps, which are scheduled to launch in the summer of 2026. These advertising options will be available for purchase directly through the Apple Business platform.
At launch, these ads will be limited to the United States and Canada. The advertisements will appear at the top of search results in Maps and will be featured in a new Suggested Places
feature arriving with iOS 26.5.

Availability and Technical Requirements
Apple Business is available in more than 200 countries and regions. The base service is free for both new and existing users, and there are no monthly fees associated with device management.
While the core platform is free, Apple offers optional paid add-ons for AppleCare+ and increased iCloud storage.
With the launch of this unified platform, Apple is discontinuing the separate Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Essentials services.
To use the Apple Business companion app and the integrated email, calendar, and directory features, users must be running macOS 26, iPadOS 26, or iOS 26.
