Apple will introduce eSIM to a global audience with the iPhone 17 lineup next September. All current “iPhone 17 Air” prototypes do not have a SIM card tray. It is uncertain if this model will be available in China due to eSIM regulations.

iPhone 16 Camera Review

The iPhone 16 ranked #20 in camera tests by DXOMark. It captured good still images and videos, but it lacked a dedicated telephoto lens, resulting in reduced detail in longer-range shots.

Apple’s Black Friday Deals

Apple will offer store vouchers for Black Friday instead of product discounts. The promotion runs from November 29 to December 2. Customers can use these vouchers on future purchases in-store or online.

Amazon’s MacBook Pro Discounts

Amazon offered up to $300 off on the new M4 MacBook Pro laptops. This strategy helps Apple maintain its premium pricing while expanding its customer base during the holiday season.

macOS Security Update

Apple announced a serious security exploit affecting its operating systems. Users are urged to update macOS immediately, as recommended by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency.

iOS 18.2 Update Timing

iOS 18.2 will include new features and AI integration with ChatGPT through Siri. The release is expected in mid-December, following the Thanksgiving holiday period.

Apple’s 5G Modem Development

Apple plans to use its 5G modem in devices starting next year. The iPhone SE 4 will likely be the first to feature it, followed by at least one model of the iPhone 17.

Product(RED) Initiative Changes

Apple has reduced its Product(RED) offerings. No iPhone 15 or 16 models are available in Product(RED), and the color option for the Apple Watch Series 10 is also discontinued. However, Apple continues its support for The Global Fund through Apple Pay donations from November 29 to December 8.
