He pointed out the current limitations of Apple Notes’ export options, which include PDF and Pages formats, suggesting that Markdown export would be a welcome advancement for Apple Notes.
Some people find this surprising, but I personally don’t wont to use a Markdown notes app. I created markdown two decades ago and have used it ever since for one thing and one thing only: writing for the web at Daring Fireball.
The potential addition of Markdown export to Apple Notes sparks questions about how apple will handle images and other embedded content within the exported files. the Apple Notes Markdown support feature could considerably enhance the app’s utility for users who need to transfer notes to other platforms or workflows.
